Meet the Founder of Movement & Meditation
Tavi Stutz is committed to creating a nurturing space for your practice and growth.

Tavi Stutz
Creator and founder of Movement & Meditation
Born into a Self Realization Fellowship (S.R.F.) family, Tavi has been a lifelong practitioner of meditation.
Tavi’s background includes the study of anatomy and physiology which has contributed to his successful understanding of body mechanics, balance, strength and flexibility. As a Yoga teacher for over 2 decades, he witnessed its benefits and limitations which inspired him to explore other modalities of movement. Ultimately creating Sacred Movement, an individualized blending of gyrotonic, gyrokinesis, active release technique, massage, breath work, yoga, pilates, meditation/visualization and tone healing. His focus has largely been specializing on spines and shoulders, energy and mindfulness.
Tavi is an international circus artist (Cirque du Soleil/Taylor Swift), director, actor, teacher, dancer, choreographer, and Artistic director of DConstruction Arts, A graduate of Butler University, Tavi studied business, theater performance, and dance before moving to NYC where he began dancing and acting at Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, Roundabout Theater Company, and the Siti Company.ng 4
Tavi later studied at Harvard and through this connection was invited to Moscow by the Bolshoi Ballet. While living in Moscow, he spent his days either dancing with the ballet, teaching movement to the college students at Moscow Art Theater (MXAT) or instructing the Harvard graduate students who were there to learn the mastered techniques of Michael Chekhov. Today, Tavi actively creates and delivers artistic performance, storytelling, and experiential productions. Additionally, he leads Movement and Meditation weekly and online with a focus on transforming participant’s dreams, hopes, and desires into reality.
